Site work for a development in Cedar Key, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a development.

Five Tasks: Task I: Report, Compile, and Consolidate: Existing Infrastructure Conditions, Site Survey Reviews, Stakeholder Interviews, and Inner Marina Use Study. Task 2: Alternatives Analysis & Prioritization: Inner Marina, Shoreline Protection and Wave Energy Attenuation. Task 3: Inner Marina Modernization and Use Enhancement Scenarios (pictures/renderings): Feasibility Study. Task Four: Dock Street Economic Resiliency Roadmap: Identify existing and potential funding, potential barriers or obstacles, Environmental permitting, and provide Cost Analysis. Task 5: Draft and Final Strategic Plan: Resolution adoption by City Commission. Engineering Services will include needs and feasibility investigation, surveying, testing, design, cost estimating, and permitting. Marina Revitalization & Modernization - phased improvements to strengthen the city's maritime infrastructure, support the aquaculture economy, and enhance resilience to storms. o Town Center Development - creating a multi-use civic and commercial hub incorporating emergency services, workforce housing, community facilities, and grocery/retail. o These initiatives align with Cedar Key's long-term vision, address critical vulnerabilities, community input and leverage federal and state funding opportunities. o All initiatives are consistent with the Cedar Key Adaptation Plan and the community input provided during the city led community workshops o Resilient Cedar Key Project o Dock Street and Marina Workshops o 2nd Street Renovation Workshops o Essential Business Workshops Infrastructure Expansion: Install a Dock Street boardwalk, outer boat ramp expansion, kayak launches, additional boat slips, improve dock access, public fish cleaning stations, an automated QR-code-based boat launch pass system, and develop educational walking paths highlighting Cedar Key's seafood heritage. o Dredging Improvements: Transition from periodic dredging (~$600K every two years) to sustainable structural solutions such as bulkhead canals, sediment management systems, and beneficial use of dredge spoils for land reclamation. o Protect the Working Waterfront: Cedar Key's marina area is the economic and cultural centerpiece of our community and must be protected. It supports our commercial fishing fleet, aquaculture operations, tourism industry, and recreational boating. Phase 1 (1-3 years) o QR Code Launch Pass System (with automatic camera verification) o Public fish cleaning station o Dock street boardwalk o Kayak Launch (inner marina) o Inner marina bulkhead o Inner Marina Dredge o Phase 2 (3-5 years) o Boardwalk walking trails (educational & recreational) o Additional inner marina dock slips o Phase 3/4 (5-10 years) o Wave Attenuation / Jetty System o Land reclamation / Additional Parking
