Bethel Court Bridge #2065: 600' North of Franklin Road. Bridge improvement project to repair the top deck of the existing bridge #2065 over the Ridenbaugh Canal. Finishing previously started construction on the Bethel Road Bridge. Healey Road Bridge #2149: Bridge improvement project to repair the existing bridge #2149 over the New York Canal. Repairs include bridge deck maintenance, replacing bridge expansion joints, concrete crack repair on bridge piers, concrete surface repair on bridge piers, and pier caps. Special Note: Bridge Piers work will need to be completed by March 15, 2026. Vista Avenue Bridge #2165: 230' North of Elder Street. Bridge improvement project to repair the existing bridge #2165 over the New York Canal. Repairs include deck rehab, replacing the expansion joint on the south end of the bridge, and concrete surface repairs on the bridge girders. 9th Street Bridge #2204 / Veterans Memorial Parkway Bridge #2191: Repair of the bridge deck and box girders on Bridge #2204 on 9th Street over the Boise River and Bridge #2191 on Veterans Memorial Parkway over the Boise River. The 9th Street Bridge #2204 and Veterans Memorial Parkway Bridge #2191 will require a permit from the City of Boise for work within the Greenbelt. All work involving irrigation and/or bridge work shall be completed no later than March 15, 2026, unless otherwise approved by the irrigation district. All other work shall be completed in its entirety on or before August 14, 2026, Healey Road bridge Pier work to be completed March 15, 2026. Question Response Deadline: December 29, 2025, 4:00pm The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about February 12, 2026. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $1,500.00 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. The contractor shall be liable for any and all damage charges filed as a result of the disruption of irrigation water delivery. Liquidated damage assessments shall be cumulative and concurrent. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or reject any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of ACHD. Award of a contract pursuant to this invitation may be delayed, without penalty, for up to sixty (60) calendar days after the date of bid. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as "Bid Security") issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted. If a photocopy or electronic version of a certified check, or cashier's check is provided with the proposal, an original certified check or cashier's check shall be submitted to ACHD within 48 hours of the bid opening. In addition, any Contractor submitting a Certified Check or Cashier's Check for Bid Security will be required to submit within 48 hours of the bid opening, a letter from their bonding company stating that it will guarantee bonding for the Bidder, in the event said Bidder is notified via a "Notice of Intent to Award Letter," that it is the apparent low-cost Bidder and may be awarded the contract. Said letter is to be included with the Proposal Form, and shall name the Bidder, project number, and the amount of bonding value being guaranteed. This Public Works project is not financed in whole or in part by Federal Aid funds. Bid proposals will be accepted only from those contractors including prime contractors, subcontractors and/or specialty contractors, who, prior to bid, hold current licenses as public works contractors in the State of Idaho. A Type 1, 2, or 4 License is required for ACHD contract work. A Type 4 License shall include the appropriate "specialty" categories related to roadway construction.
