Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ham Lake, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work shall consist of the Contractor placing a 2-inch bituminous overlay following a preparatory tack coat onto the existing bituminous pavement. The City will be responsible for sweeping and patching in preparation of the overlay and restoring shoulders following the overlay The project cannot commence prior to July 6, 2026. Bids must be made on the basis of cash payment for the work accompanied by a cash basis, a certified check (from a responsible bank in the State of Minnesota), or a bidder's bond and made payable without condition to the City of Ham Lake, Minnesota, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. A pre-bid meeting can be arranged with the Ham Lake Public Works Department and Project Engineer if requested. The project consists of the following approximate quantities: Base Bid: 1,136 square yards - 6-foot-wide bituminous surface edge mill 72,561 square yards - mill bituminous surface 2,933 cubic yards - hauling bituminous pavement 8,779 tons type SPWEB240C - wearing course mixture 72,134 square yards bituminous - material for tack coat
