Fort Zumwalt School District is soliciting flooring bids for renovations at four locations. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting Mrs. Lisa Koester at 636-272-6620. Sealed bids are to be submitted to the Board of Education, 555 E. Terra Lane, O'Fallon, MO 63366 by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened. Bids must be accompanied by a 10% bid deposit in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required of the successful bidder. If the project meets the requirements for prevailing hourly rate of wages as determined by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards, those wages are to be paid to all workers. The school district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities therein. Work will occur at the following four (4) locations: o North Middle School, 210 Virgil St., O'Fallon, MO 63366 o Westhoff Elementary, 900 Homefield Blvd., O'Fallon, MO 63366 o Rock Creek Elementary, 8970 Mexico Rd., O'Fallon, MO 63366 o Pheasant Point Elementary, 3450 Pheasant Meadow Dr., O'Fallon, MO 63368 In general, the scope of work is to include demolition of existing flooring and cove base, floor prep and patching and installation of new flooring and cove base. The following is a general scope for each location: BASE BID: a. North Middle Scope of Work: Demo of existing flooring products to include: VCT, ceramic tile, carpet and cove base as indicated on drawings. Floor prep and patching as required by manufacturer's recommendations. Installation of new flooring products to include: VCT, modular carpet tiles, ceramic tile, cove base, stair treads, and rubber floor tiles in areas as noted on drawings. b. Pheasant Point Elementary Scope of Work: Demo of existing flooring products to include: VCT and cove base as indicated on drawings. Floor prep and patching as required by manufacturer's recommendations. Installation of new flooring products to include: VCT and cove base in areas as noted on drawings. c. Rock Creek Elementary Scope of Work: Demo of existing flooring products to include: VCT and cove base as indicated on drawings. Floor prep and patching as required by manufacturer's recommendations. Installation of new flooring products to include: VCT and cove base in areas as noted on drawings. d. Westhoff Elementary Scope of Work: Demo of existing flooring products to include: modular carpet tile, ceramic tile and cove base as indicated on drawings.
