Sealed bids are requested for the construction of water system improvements. The project includes two contracts: Contract No. 1 involves the installation of a portable generator and all points of connection at the Well House. Contract No. 2 covers electrical improvements at three Well Houses in the community. General Contractors may bid on one or both projects. The lowest responsible bid for each contract will be considered for award. All procurement is subject to applicable regulations, including but not limited to, those from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, and the "Build America, Buy America Act." Bidders must comply with affirmative efforts requirements, as well as the President's Executive Order No. 11246 regarding equal employment opportunity.
