Demolition and asbestos abatement for a multi-residential development in Rutland, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a multi-residential development.
The contractor will be required to comply with the Illinois Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Law. The contractor shall transport all friable asbestos containing material (RACM) and nonfriable asbestos containing material (ACM), according to the asbestos inspection report, to an approved disposal site. The work will be known as Location 1 and consists of the complete removal and disposal of a residential structure. Detailed specifications and bid instructions may be obtained from the Village Clerk by email at cagros6759@yahoo.com. Work on all homes must be completed within 90 days of the notice to proceed, weather permitting. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. End date - 05/05/2026 as per ITB The project consists of the removal and disposal of an asbestos containing residential structure located at: 105 East Broad Street, Rutland, IL The removal of the residential structure described shall include any driveways along with any sidewalks located on the property. The foundation shall be taken down two (2) feet below ground level. The properties may be inspected between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday with prior arrangements with the Village.
