Site work for a water / sewer project in Parrish, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace approximately 2.0 miles (10,560 LF) of 42" PCCP with 42" Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) from WTP north to near intersection of Rye Road and Upper Manatee River Road. Sections of the new pipe must be installed and put into service before the similar stretch of old pipe can be removed from service. Includes new services, hydrants, and valves as needed. The first phase of this project will include surveying and evaluation of potential land acquisition requirements As of January 16, 2026, this project is included in the County's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). It is currently in the conceptual phase. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. Funding is allotted for FY 2026 and 2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
