Renovation and addition to an educational facility in Rolla, Missouri. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; and educational facility.

Sealed bids are requested for additions and renovations at Mark Twain Elementary School, Rolla, MO. Drawings and specifications are available at the office of the Architect. Information regarding bidding instructions and requirements for procuring bidding documents can be obtained from the Architect. Not less than the prevailing hourly wage rates, as determined by the State of Missouri, shall be paid to all workers on this project. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to reject any part of a bid, to accept any bid it deems in its best interest, to advertise for and solicit new bids, and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bid requirements and specifications. SUMMARY OF WORK A. The work of this contract comprises the Additions and Renovation at Mark Twain Elementary School. B. Construct the work under a stipulated sum contract. C. All work on the project, shall be executed as part of the work of this contract. alternate #1 new classroom infill addition on the west side of the building alternate #2 new asphalt drop-off lane as shown in the contract documents alternate #3 re-circuit the existing data rack to the emergency generator power system Bids must be placed in an opaque, sealed envelope and marked accordingly. All bids, mailed or delivered, must be filed by the designated date and time. Bids will be opened in public session. Bids may be withdrawn by written or telegraphic notice prior to opening. No oral, telephonic, or telegraphic proposals or modifications will be considered. Proposals must be filed on the "Form of Bid" provided by the Architect. Modifying statements must be stated separately and filed in the same envelope as the bid. The Owner may extend the time for receiving bids, and all holders of bidding documents will be informed simultaneously if this occurs. Pricing must remain firm for 45 days following the filing date. Each General Contractor must submit with the bid a full list of all proposed subcontractors, as required on the Form of Bid. Failure to include the required list of subcontractors may be cause for rejection. Each General Contractor must also submit a Contractor's Qualification Statement as required under this section. Failure to include the required qualification statement may be cause for rejection. REQUESTS FOR SUBSTITUTIONS OF MATERIALS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING NO LATER THAN 5;00 pm on Thursday, January 6, 2026. REQUESTS SUBMITTED AFTER THAT DATE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Project Schedule: (1) Notice To Proceed: January 23, 2026 (2) Begin Construction: February 23, 2026 (3) Substantial Completion: November 20, 2026 (4) Final Completion: December 18, 2026
