Pre-Qualification: Yes The Project includes the following Work: Project A: 5th St (Oak St To Maple St), Cedar St (Alley To 5th St) (with 150 feet of Cedar Street) The project consists of complete street reconstruction approximately 1,200 feet in length from Oak to Maple street and approximately 200 feet of Cedar Street. The project will involve reconstructing the roadway cross section, storm sewer and about 1,000 feet of sanitary sewer replacement. The only spot repairs of the watermain will be made. Project B: 5th St (Spruce St To Birch St) - The project consists of complete street reconstruction from Spruce Street to Birch Street (approximately 725 feet). The project will involve reconstructing the roadway cross section and storm sewer. Water and sanitary sewer work will involve spot repairs and replacements necessary. Project C: Birch St (5th St To 6th St) The project consists of complete street reconstruction on Birch Street from 5th Street to 6th Street (approximately 380 feet). The project will involve reconstructing the roadway cross section and storm sewer. Water and sanitary sewer work will involve spot repairs and replacements necessary. All projects involve traffic control, erosion control and restoration. The anticipated substantial completion date is October 30, 2026 and final completion date is November 20, 2026. Project A is also funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (MSILT) from Oak to Maple Street and excludes Cedar Street Segment. BIDDERS shall submit Bidder Qualifications form and attachments (form included in Section 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders) before 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026, to the office of the Engineer by methods of email (dborchardt@msa-ps.com) or postal mail (146 North Central Avenue, Suite 201, Marshfield, Wisconsin 54449). No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
