The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to procure a fire-resistant laboratory fume hood for the National Product Testing and Evaluation Center (NPTEC). The supplier must provide a six-foot-wide laboratory fume hood with unpainted stainless steel interior surfaces, a front sash with stainless-steel frame and tempered safety glass window, and generally acceptable aluminum components on the exterior. Powder coating compliant with UL 1805 is acceptable on exterior metal surfaces. The fume hood must include two electrical outlets with GFCI protection (one outlet with two receptacles on each the bottom left and right exterior), one compressed air service fixture compatible with the existing building compressed air supply, and two 36-inch powder coated stainless steel general storage cabinets as a base for the fume hood. This requirement is for parts only; installation at the facility is not required. A blower, water plumbing fixtures, and drainage are not required. This must be provided on a firm-fixed price basis. Quotes must include the offeror's Taxpayer Identification number, CAGE code, UEI number, and contact information, with proof of active SAM registration at time of submission. All additional clauses, terms, and conditions are included in the Statement of Work.
