Site work for a water / sewer project in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City invites Tenders for Contracting Services for the North Victoria Drive Outfall Repair Project. This sewer outfall structure, owned and operated by the City, is over 100 years old and requires repairs to prevent further deterioration or potential pipe collapse, allowing the City time to plan for future replacement works. The outfall is located in Port Land and extends approximately 110 metres into Burrard Inlet. The repair work involves restraining six of the existing piers that support the combined sewer overflow outfall, in case separation of the pier wall from the culvert pipe occurs. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to: Installation of new restrainers at 6 piers, which will comprise of four (4) steel brackets secured with four (4) anchors each, and Installation of Combined Sewer Overflow signage, which will be provided by the City.
