Renovation of an educational facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 14,732-square-foot educational facility.
A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of the following scope B. Base Bid Work: 1. This work is to include but is not limited to the following for the roof replacement. Install a new 60 mil EPDM system over high density polyisocyanurate insulation using roof manufacturer's standard EPDM adhesive. Set the high density polyisocyanurate insulation cover board in low rise polyurethane adhesive over coated glass faced polyisocyanurate insulation over a vapor retarder. The two base layers of insulation are to be fastened with screws and plates over a vapor retarder over a metal roof deck. The insulation is to be fastened with a minimum of 1 fastener per two square feet. The roofing contractor is to provide tapered insulation as required to provide positive drainage at a 1/4 " per 1'-0" minimum. See also roof drawings. Crickets and saddles to be sloped at 1/2 " per foot. Provide 24 GA pre-finished galvanized steel roof edge metal, copings and fascia extensions. Contractor to provide a complete, weather tight roof system. Contractor to provide thirty-year warranty details. Contractor shall water test all roof drains. Contractor to provide 20-year total systems roof warranty with puncture warranty and 72 mph wind uplift warranty. The EDGE Participation Goal for the Project is 0.0 percent
