The project involves performing lift station upgrades at the Bucks Rd Lift Station in Gautier, Mississippi. The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing lift station, installation of a new panel, pumps, and electrical components, and the lining of the existing wet well. Bidders must submit sealed bids accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. Bidders submitting bids in excess of $50,000.00 must have a current Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Public Contractors with the appropriate classification for Municipal and Public Works projects. The Certificate of Responsibility Number must be indicated on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope to be opened. Bids for $50,000 or less must be marked as such on the exterior of the envelope. Bid documents are available via paper or digital copy, and all prospective bidders must register at www.SeymourEngPlans.com to access them. Bids may be submitted via envelope or electronically at the same website. All bids must be addressed to LEOQUEITA REDDIX, PURCHASING AGENT, and must be designated as bids for the City of Gautier Bucks Road Lift Station Improvements. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to award the bid in the best interest of the City. Bids may be held for up to ninety days from the opening date for evaluation purposes.
