As of March 25, 2026, project is awarded to Central Missouri Excavation Contracting, Inc. from Belle, MO in the amount of $179,931.18. Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the City of Belle Rock Island Trail, consisting of 8,750 linear feet of 12-foot-wide trail granular surface, 14-foot-wide trail granular base, non-woven geotextile separation/drainage fabric, Trailhead Information Board Structure, 4-inch thick concrete ADA slab-on-grade, 6-inch-thick concrete van accessible ADA parking, 4-inch thick concrete ADA sidewalk, water bottle filler installation, and site restoration. WORK BY OWNER A. Work by Owner associated with the RTP Application include: linear grading of existing railbed, road crossings, signage, siltation fencing, trash cans and bike rack. B. Work by Owner not associated with the RTP Application include: bike repair station, parking stops and water service line. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form bound in the RFP and the Bid Envelope must state "Rock Island Trail." Each bidder must deposit a bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Bidders must carefully consider contract requirements, including conditions of employment, Non-Segregated Facilities, E-Verify, and MBE/WBE participation. Federal funds will be used for the project, and all relevant federal, state, and local requirements apply. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, determine the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder, and award the contract accordingly.
