The City is seeking to enter a contract with a qualified contractor for a project that includes construction of approximately 17,760 LF of 24-inch and 30-inch diameter PVC effluent force main pipeline and approximately 1,830 LF of 24 HDPE pipe, with miscellaneous related work including manholes and appurtenances, utility adjustments, traffic control, erosion and sediment control, and site restoration. A portion of the work is located within Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way and compliance with railroad safety requirements will be required. The Work shall include furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items for the complete construction of approximately 16,241 linear feet of 24- inch effluent force main; 1,655 linear feet of 30-inch effluent main; and appurtenances The Project begins immediately north of the Buda Wastewater Treatment Plant (525 Garison Rd., Buda, Texas, and terminates at a proposed outfall structure located approximately 1.75 miles east of the intersection of Interstate Highway 35 and Main Street.
