Object description: CALL FOR QUALIFICATION / Progressive design-construction Hydro-Quebec intends to carry out the "Construction of a new thermal power plant at Cap-aux-Meules" (the "Project") according to a progressive design-build (PAB) approach. The project includes the design of the plant, supply of equipment (except for power units) and various materials, construction, construction management up to the commissioning and commissioning phases. Here is the non-exhaustive list of design and construction themes included in the project: Excavation; Foundations; Structures; Drainage; Building envelope; Electricity / Lighting; Electrical distribution; Connection to the starting station; Mechanical systems; Fuel supply systems; Exhaust gas system; Heat recovery system for engines and chimneys; Equipment auxiliary to the motorization; Installation of the engine groups; Start-up and commissioning; Etc. The above list is non-exhaustive, several other themes and sub-themes will be included in the project, for example: emission control, cooling, fuel storage, HVAC systems, glycol supply, plumbing, fire system, overhead cranes, acoustic enclosures, earthworks, emergency generators, electrical room, various architectural elements and interior fittings, control systems, equipment for the health and safety of workers such guards, lifting equipment, soundproofing, etc. It should be noted that Hydro-Quebec will be responsible for all regulatory authorization activities as well as preliminary impact studies.
