Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Calgary, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Scope of work consists of: - A new dam structure downstream from the existing Ghost Lake Hydroelectric Plant; - Supporting infrastructure for the new facility including access roads, support structures and transmission lines; - Relocation of utilities and rail line adjacent to the new reservoir limits; and - Decommissioning, relocation and, removal of the existing Ghost Lake Hydroelectric Plant and supporting facilities. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals (RFP) for engineering services is underway. Services will include feasibility study review and assessment; engineering, design and regulatory approvals; and project implementation. The first stage of the project is expected to be completed in spring 2028. Schedules for detailed design, tender and construction to be determined. *Project cost to be confirmed.
