This project includes mechanical and lighting upgrades, including new air handler units, new air-cooled chiller, new interior light fixtures, and new suspended acoustic ceiling system at the Bittersweet Branch library, located at 602 N Bittersweet Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46544. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form provided and must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit, Form 96 of the State Board of Accounts, financial statement, bid bond or certified check for a value of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bidder's total bid amount, including all alternatives and other items as noted. The guarantee must be made out to the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Contract Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. Bonds must be maintained in accordance with relevant Indiana Code and be in full force and effect for at least 12 months after the date of Final Completion of the Contract. Each bid must be submitted with one original and two duplicate documents in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the applicable project. The Mishawaka Penn Harris Public Library reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, waive informalities or irregularities in bidding, and to resolicit quotations. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder pursuant to applicable Indiana Code. The successful Contractor is required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. Mishawaka Penn Harris Public Library may not contract with a person engaged in investment activities in Iran.
