The Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Corporation (BPWTC) plans to construct a Monofill cell to create additional capacity to store and dewater the sludge that is deposited in the facility lagoons during production of potable water. Construction of a monofill cell for sludge drying, including: site mobilization, topsoil stripping, excavation, perimeter berms, clay liner, access road, leachate collection system (HDPE pipes & drainage), geotextile installation, granular base layers, topsoil placement, hydroseeding, testing, and closeout.
