Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Overbrook, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work consists of the construction of one new wetland lagoon cell with approximately 40,950 cubic yards of cut (raw) and 28,480 cubic yards fill (raw), installation of riprap armoring (approximately 395 tons), 385 linear feet of 4-inch Class 160 PVC force main piping, 440 linear feet of 10-inch SDR 35 PVC transfer piping, 120 linear feet of 6-inch DIP emergency discharge piping, miscellaneous intake, transfer, and discharge structures, lagoon biosolids removal, transportation, and land application, new fencing, seeding, and miscellaneous appurtenances. Instructions to bidders: Separate sealed bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the bid form. Bidding documents may be examined at the issuing office or at city hall by appointment. Copies of plans and specifications are available for a non-refundable fee online. Bid security is required. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities and/or to reject all bids. All bidders must comply with local, state, and federal regulations as stated in the bid documents. Additional certifications and documents may be required for the successful completion of the project. Contracts and subcontracts exceeding $100,000 must comply with the Anti-Lobbying Act.
