The consultant is to provide engineering services for upgrading the existing stilling basin to align with USBR Type 3 basin design, and to conduct comprehensive repairs to the Coal Lake Spillway, including upgrading the existing stilling basin walls to extend service life and ensure safe spillway capacity. Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2027. *The breakdown of the preliminary cost estimate is as follows: Spillway Rehabilitation (Including raising the crest) - $1.6M Stilling Basin Upgrade - $1.4M
