Renovation of a recreation facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility.
The project requires the procurement of all materials, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to provide inspection services for all rockwork, both underwater and above the surface, of the Kelp Tank Exhibit. It also includes providing reports on the sustainability and stability of the rockwork and repairing any faulty or damaged rockwork. Bidders must comply with all instructions and agreements will include General Terms and Conditions and Contractor Certification Clauses as referenced. Bids must be submitted according to the detailed requirements provided. . Agreement shall tentatively begin on February 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2026. This date is contingent on State approval of the agreement. Any changes to the period of performance must be done as a written Amendment to the Agreement by the California Science Center. Question Deadline 12/30/2025 at 12:00 PM PT All questions regarding the content of this IFB must be submitted in writing by mail or electronically to Erica Guzman (eguzman@californiasciencecenter.ca.gov) and must be received by the Key Action Date identified above. Questions not submitted in writing by the Key Action Date for submission of written questions shall be answered at the States option.
