Site work for a water / sewer project in Vacaville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Furnishing all tools, materials, labor, and services necessary to complete the Well 21 Construction and Testing Project, including all items and appurtenances as described in the project plans and specifications. The work includes drilling an adjacent shallower well at an existing production well site, as well as performing an 8-hour step pump test and an 8-hour aquifer test. Bids are required for the entire work described. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract within ten calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award letter. Contractor and subcontractors must possess a C-57 license at the time a bid is submitted. Bidders must confirm inclusion on the official plan holders list. Compliance with California Government Code and Labor Code requirements is mandatory, including prevailing wage determinations and contractor registration with the Department of Industrial Relations. Proposals in which the prices are obviously unbalanced may be rejected. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder. Question Deadline 01/03/2026 City may not answer questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids. Bidders must direct all questions about the meaning or intent of Bidding documents to the City (Attention: Project Engineer) in writing.
