Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a 474-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project involves the construction of a new washroom building and new servicing for Old Village Park. The work includes the installation of new municipal water, sanitary, and electrical services from Ontario Street, construction of an AODA-compliant granular walkway connecting the existing parking area, playground, and pump track, and the construction of an accessible washroom/storage building. The building will feature two unisex accessible washrooms, a maintenance closet, and a storage room, modeled after a similar existing facility. The contractor must prepare working drawings and specifications for the building's structure, stamped by a structural engineer, and secure a Building Permit. The project also includes all mechanical and electrical works associated with the building, reinstating power to park amenities, provisions for future lighting, and new water supply to a bottle fill station and irrigation system. Demolition and removal of the existing washroom building, including proper disconnection and capping of services, is part of the scope. The successful bidder must demonstrate relevant municipal construction experience and coordinate with local utilities.
