Demolition and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Port Charlotte, Florida. Working plans call for the renovation of a 4,300-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; 528-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and 5,500-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

**As of January 16, 2026, the owner has determined a prequalified list of Design Services. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** It is the intent to obtain professional design services for a firm to design construction ready plans to be incorporated into the County's bid documents and all applicable Federal, State, and Local permitting and construction oversight services for the partial demolition and complete replacement and/or repair of the disaster damaged waterfront as well as both in-water and over-water assets. This consists of an approximately 5,500 square foot connecting shoreline boardwalk (upland features to pier), an approximately 4,300 square foot fishing pier, and an approximately 528 square foot floating canoe/kayak dock with a 30' x 4' aluminum gangway, abutting upland walkways and sidewalks.
