Work in general includes but is not limited to: - Installation of Approx. 13,240 LF of 16-in C900 (DR-14) PVC Waterline. - Installation of Fire Hydrants, Blow Offs, Combination Air-Release Valves, Check and Butterfly valves, water services. - Pressure Reducing Station - As needed temporary highline - Connection to existing pipelines - Traffic control - Paving - Concrete - Compaction Testing Discrepancies in, and/or omissions from the Bid or Contract Documents or questions as to their meaning shall be immediately brought to the attention of the District by submission of a written request for an interpretation or correction to the District. Any such submission must be sent to the Ricardo Soto, P.E. by emailing rsoto@rmwd.org, NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM ON JANUARY 15, 2026. Prospective bidders MAY visit the Site without making arrangements through the District. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work shall generally include construction of water replacement pipeline, as shown on the Approved Plans and Specifications, in accordance with District standards and other jurisdictional agency requirements, including the following: 1. Construction of 16-inch potable water pipeline starting at the intersection of Olive & Elm St and continuing along Elm Street to Haverford Rd., continuing east on Haverford Rd to Pamo Rd, then continuing north on Pamo Rd to Pile Street and east on Pile Street to Magnolia Ave., where it will tie into the existing 20-inch potable water pipeline at the intersection of Pile St & Magnolia Ave/Black Canyon Rd in accordance with the Approved Plans, including all associated materials, service connections, appurtenances and other Work. B. The Contractor shall keep the District and Construction Manager fully advised as to his schedule to complete the Work and obtain the District's and Construction Manager's approval for all phases of his operations, as hereinafter specified.
