Cancellation Description Being cancelled to chnage the NAICS code. The requirement involves maintaining air pressure differentials between designated patient rooms and adjoining corridors or spaces at the VAMC Indianapolis. Each room must be configured as either positive or negative pressure only, in compliance with VA regulations, eliminating any dual functionality and removing keyed interfaces. At project completion, there will be 27 negative pressure rooms and 4 positive pressure rooms. Negative pressure is defined as a minimum differential of 0.01 WC for single designation (-) and 0.02 WC for double (--), while positive pressure is defined as 0.01 WC (+) and 0.02 WC (++). The A/E shall inspect all components affecting pressure balance, identify deficiencies, assess current operations, and determine necessary changes to meet VA requirements and industry standards under normal and epidemic conditions, ensuring compliance with fire and smoke regulations. Epidemic mode requires maintaining design pressure differences and air changes, meeting AHU outdoor air and filtration set points, and accommodating extended door-open events. After presenting deficiencies and solutions to the VA, the A/E will design corrective measures, prepare plans and specifications, and provide assistance through bidding and construction phases.
