The scope of work consists of the selective demolition of four 6' wide by 21' tall door and window openings and approximately 24 square feet of existing athletic wood flooring. New construction includes four 3' wide by 7' tall single insulated hollow metal doors and frames with metal stud infill partitions above, finished with sheet rock backed by plywood on the interior and an exterior insulated finish system. Replacement of damaged and removed wood flooring is included in new construction. The contractor is responsible for protecting and securing the existing building, including the gymnasium wood flooring throughout construction. Phased construction is anticipated to protect and secure the building. Separate sealed bids are required for furnishing all supervision, materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appliances necessary for the project. Contract documents may be examined or purchased by non-refundable deposit. Instructions include where to send payment and how bid documents will be distributed upon receipt of proof of payment. Questions regarding the project or the Bid Documents must be in writing as required by the Instruction to Bidders.
