The scope of this project consists of cleaning private properties in various locations in Pascagoula, MS, which such cleanings are ordered by the City pursuant to Mississippi Code Section 21-19-11 or other applicable law. Instructions to bidders include: Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the City Clerk of Pascagoula, Mississippi, marked as specified. Electronic bids are permitted and must follow the same requirements as sealed bids, including the submission of a cover document and required attachments. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by cash, a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the necessary additional bond(s) for the faithful performance of the contract. All bonds and certificates of insurance shall be executed or countersigned by a licensed resident agent of the surety or insurance company in Mississippi. The bidder must hold a current Certificate of Responsibility with the proper classification and provide 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and postpone or cancel the award process.
