Scope includes furnishing and installing water meters and related equipment as follows (three product options provided): Option A - Neptune Water Meters: 1,684 5/8" x 3/4" Mach 10 R900 Meters, 90 1" Mach 10 R900 Meters, 28 1.5" Mach 10 R900 Meters, 31 2" Mach 10 R900 Meters, 4 3" Mach 10 R900 Meters, 2 4" Mach 10 R900 Meters, 1 Data Collector with Tablet, 1 Gateway and Installation, and installation of each meter size. Option B - Sensus Water Meters: 1,684 5/8" x 3/4" iPerl Meters, 90 1" iPerl Meters, 28 1.5" Omni Meters, 31 2" Omni Meters, 4 3" Omni Meters, 2 4" Omni Meters, 1,684 Smart Points - 520M - Single Port, 1 Data Collector with Tablet, 1 Gateway and Installation, and installation of each meter size. Option C - Master Meter Water Meters: 1,684 5/8" x 3/4" Sonata Ultrasonic Meters, 90 1" Sonata Ultrasonic Meters, 28 1.5" Octave Ultrasonic Meters, 31 2" Octave Ultrasonic Meters, 4 3" Octave Ultrasonic Meters, 2 4" Octave Ultrasonic Meters, 1 Data Collector with Tablet, 1 Gateway and Installation, and installation of each meter size. All work shall be performed and all construction and material used and furnished shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by Myers Engineering and on file with the City of Hobart / Hobart Public Works Authority. Instructions to Bidders: - All bids shall be publicly opened and read aloud at the time stated in the notice. - Complete sets of Plans and Specifications are available for purchase. - Each original bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bidder's Bond for 5% of the bid amount as a guarantee to enter a contract and furnish required bonds within ten days of acceptance. - Required documents with each bid include a DW-412 Non-collusion Affidavit and a DW-413 Business Relationships Affidavit. - Performance, Maintenance, and Statutory Payment Bonds (100% of contract price) by a corporate surety licensed in Oklahoma are required. - Maintenance Bond for one year after acceptance is required. - Compliance with federal laws and regulations is required, including Equal Opportunity in Employment, DEQ Small, Minority, Women's Businesses Requirements, Anti-Kickback Act, Contract Work Hours Standards Act, Davis Bacon Act wage rules, American Iron and Steel provisions, and Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act. - System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all applicants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. - The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
