Facility Renovations at the Ralls Maintenance Facility Question Deadline 01/12/2026 at 5:00 PM CT For questions regarding this solicitation, please email SSD_ContractLettings@TxDOT.gov the objective of this project is to adapt two existing bays of the garage to create administration space that function as both meeting space and office space. the scope, also, includes reconfiguration of existing space to meet ada requirments including updateing restrooms and warming kitchen to meet current and future requirements. building systems, including hvac, plumbing and electrical will be revised and updated as needed for this reconfiguration. updated restroom for maintenance staff and laundry facility are also a part of this scope. the scope will include: o removal of abandoned conduit, wiring and other abandoned lines. o reconfiguration of spaces to include removal of door opening, walls and installation of new door openings. o revisions to restroom to accommodate ada requirements. (new fixtures as required). o installation of new split system for hvac control. o installation of ceiling insulation above dropped acoustical ceiling in office/ meeting room and restrooms. o install new led lighting in multipurpose room and restrooms. o install new electrical as required for function and code compliance. o frame and finish closets for buiidng systems and storage. o provision of housekeeping ans service sink o provision of laundry facilities o new paint and other finishes as described in drawings and specifications.
