Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are available from Remington & Vernick Engineers, with arrangements made via phone or email and a required payment. No bids are to be picked up or dropped off at the Engineer's or Municipality offices, and payment must be received before obtaining specifications. Bids must be on the specified bid form, enclosed in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name, address, and reference to the work, and addressed to the Township of Hillside before the designated opening time. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than 10% (but no more than $20,000) of the bid amount, along with a certificate letter from a surety company for a completion bond. Award of the contract is subject to the availability of funds and necessary permits.
