CR#:2129913. Contract Term: One-year contract with 3 additional one-year extensions. Location: Incorporated Village of Cedarhurst - Nassau. The Incorporated Village of Cedarhurst is seeking qualified electrical contractors to provide as-needed Streetlight Maintenance Services, including lamp and photocell replacement, wiring diagnostics, fixture repair, ballast replacement, pole repair (Village-owned poles only), and emergency response. Approximately 762 streetlights of various types are maintained under this contract. Eligible bidders must hold a valid reciprocal electrical license from the Town of Hempstead, Town of North Hempstead, or Town of Oyster Bay, and must meet all New York State prevailing wage requirements. Proof of insurance, experience with municipal or utility streetlighting systems, and the ability to meet required response times (3 business days for routine repairs; 4 hours for emergencies) is required. Subcontracting is permitted only as disclosed in the bid submission and subject to Village approval. Joint ventures are allowed. The contract may not be assigned or transferred without prior written authorization.
