The project shall generally consist of, but is not limited to, selective demolition; cast-in-place concrete; concrete masonry units; coldformed metal framing; wood treatment; rough and finish carpentry; cabinets; solid surface countertops; building insulation; drainable cement board stucco system; firestopping; flashing and sheetmetal; sealants; steel door frames; wood doors; aluminum storefront framing and doors; finish hardware; glazing; gypsum board assemblies; suspended acoustical ceiling; rubber flooring; painting; cubicle curtains and track' patient bed service walls; impact resistant wall protection; identifying devices; fire alarm system; HVAC; plumbing; electrical work; and all appurtenances required to complete the work and miscellaneous related work. The contract time for this project shall be 210 consecutive calendar days from the effective date designated in the Notice to Proceed. From the effective date noted in the Notice to Proceed (NTP) letter, the Contractor shall proceed with his preparatory work such as: preparing and forwarding submittals, obtaining approvals, obtaining permits, and other work as approved by the University. No work shall be allowed at the job site and no ordering of materials shall be allowed until receipt of the Notice to Proceed letter, or upon earlier written notice from the University. The Contractor shall be responsible for any airfreight cost or overtime-cost differentials necessary to complete the project within the project contract time. On-site completion for this project shall be on or before July 30, 2026. The deadline to submit requests for clarification of the requirements of this IFB is on January 6, 2026.
