The State Preservation Board (SPB) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to furnish labor and materials for the replacement of the North first floor door operators at the Texas State Capitol. Vendors are to provide all necessary labor and materials for this replacement project. Deadline for Submission of Questions Thursday January 8, 2026 by EOD The project involves a demolish of existing hydraulic door operatorsystem at the historic north first floor doorsto the Texas Capitol and replace with electric operators. Work involves historic masonry including granite, brick vault jack arch floor systems and rubble wall systems, historic plaster demolition and repair, alteration of historic veneer wood doors, custom metal fabrication, fabrication of custom operator arms with custom metal and nylon parts, electrical work and operator install.
