This Contract is for the construction of transit and pedestrian infrastructure improvements throughout Phase 1 as part of the RAISE East-West Corridor Transit Priority Project. This project consists of approximate 12 miles of the 20-mile opportunity corridor ranging from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in western Baltimore County to the Fox Ridge community in eastern Baltimore County. Improvements include: o 31 Standalone Bus Stop Landing Areas o 24 Concrete Bus Stopping Pads at non-Bus Bulb Landing Areas o 1 Curb Ramp o Approximately 100 LF Accessible Path o Signage/Wayfinding o Landscaping The work involves upgrading existing bus stop landing areas, accessible paths and sidewalk curb ramps to be PROWAG compliant. The effort also includes adding bus bulbs, dedicated bus lanes and a bike path, as well as signage/wayfinding and Transit Signal Priority upgrades. Contract duration: 487 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
