The Village of North Chevy Chase (the "Village") is seeking to establish a multiple-award umbrella contract with up to three qualified tree care companies to support the municipality with routine maintenance of approximately 250 canopy and understory trees in the municipal right-of-way. Contract awardees will bid on periodic task orders issued by the municipality for specified tree pruning and/or tree removal requirements, including stump grinding and associated activities. This contract shall commence o/a January 20, 2026 and continue thereafter until January 19, 2029. This contract includes the option to renew annually for an additional three years. Project Cost Class B - $100,000 to $500,000 Interested contractors should submit: A cover letter summarizing qualifications, including the number of work crews available as well as fleet capabilities Copy of Maryland Licensed Tree Expert (LTE) license Copy of resume and ISA certification of proposed estimator/arborist representative for contract Copy of MDA license and registered employee card(s) for staff who apply pesticides A sample of previous contracted work (tree maintenance specifications) Fee schedule or proposed pricing structure (see Attachment A) Contact information of at least three professional references for similar-sized scopes Contact information of at least two professional references for proposed estimator/arborist representative Copy of certificate of liability insurance Affidavits on Non-Collusion and Non-Conviction (attached hereto) *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
