Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project consists of the rehabilitation of the sequencing equipment at the Elk Grove Village Splash Pad. The work includes removal and replacement of the existing Crystal Fountains Choreoswitch and LED lighting assemblies, cleaning and reconditioning of existing junction boxes, and installation of new Choreoswitch units and associated electrical components. The existing control panel is to be evaluated for modification, incorporation, and control of the new splashpad animation controller, including addition of all new necessary power and communication connections. All testing, DMX addressing, grounding, and sealing are required to ensure full operational functionality of the sequencing system, as well as all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the installation according to specifications, plans, and manufacturer's recommendations. Bidders are advised to review all General Conditions, Special Provisions, and related Plans and Specifications before submitting a bid. All bidders must be prequalified prior to receiving bid proposal packets. Prequalification forms are available on the Village's website. Once reviewed and approved, an electronic bid proposal packet will be sent to approved bidders. For questions concerning the project, please contact the Public Works Department at 847-734-8800.
