The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. The scope of work includes demolition and replacement of an existing spring containment pool and covering structure, mechanical and electrical work, general construction, and a block retaining wall. This solicitation includes required insurance as recommended for the projects specifications and scope of work. It is highly encouraged potential responders review Section 00 73 16 Insurance Requirements as well as AIA A201, Article 11 of the solicitation before submitting a response. This project has a 3% Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (TG ED VO) subcontracting goal. The responding company must have completed, as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor, work for at least two contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since June 30, 2020, for construction projects with a similar scope of work, and each must have had a construction value of $500,000 or greater. The Project Manager and/or Job Superintendent responsible for this project each must have at least ten years of experience with General Contracting construction similar in scope to this project, with each contract having had a construction value of $1,000,000 or greater.
