The project includes milling and resurfacing at multiple locations totaling 9,170 linear feet (1.74 miles) in Hawthorn Woods. Work consists of 4.25" surface removal and replacement with HMA Surface Course 2" and HMA Binder Course 2.5", as well as 2" surface removal and replacement with HMA Surface Course 1.5" and Polymerized HMA Binder Course 0.75". Class D patches Type I-IV (8"); installation of PCC Shoulders (9"), PCC shoulder removal, driveway removal and replacement, drainage improvements, pavement marking, and restoration are also included. The base bid covers the listed streets and the Public Works Parking Lot. Alternate 1 Bid adds CMP pipe culvert removal and replacement with 15" Storm Sewer, Class B, Type 1, 15" at the Acorn Dr HOA property. The Village will select the low bidder based on its budget and may award the base bid, alternate, or combinations thereof, and may delete streets from the bid with no adjustment to unit prices.
