Renovation of a municipal facility in Wildwood, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Brownwood Community Development Districts is requesting bids from qualified firms for the Brownwood Entryway Feature Replacement. Last Day for Questions January 28, 2026, 4:00pm Any questions regarding this ITB, please email Veronica Salazar at veronica.salazar@ districtgov.org. or submitted though the OpenGov Procurement Portal. The project consists generally of the removal, disposal, and rebuilding of the Brownwood Entrance Gateway Structure, as provided in the bid documents and the Kimley-Horn Engineered Plans and Project Manual. It is the intent of these specifications to describe a complete project fully acceptable to the District. Any omitted details shall not relieve the Contractor of performing all necessary work to complete the project to the highest industry standards and to the satisfaction of the District. All materials and workmanship shall be first class and shall conform to the highest industry standards or the specifications, whichever requirements are more stringent. Contractor and subcontractors shall obtain a copy of the Florida Department of Transportation "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction" (Latest Edition) and become familiar with the contents prior to commencing any work, and, unless otherwise noted, all work shall conform as applicable to these standards and specifications. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required construction permits and bonds, if required, prior to construction. Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all material and labor to construct the Entrance Gateway as shown and described in the construction documents in accordance with the appropriate approving authorities, specifications, and requirements. Existing utilities shown are located according to the information available to the Engineer at the time of the Topographic Survey and have not been independently verified by the Owner or Engineer. The Contractor assumes full responsibility for locating and preserving all utilities. Finding the actual location of any existing utilities is the Contractor's responsibility. It is the Contractor's responsibility to contact the various utility Companies which may have buried or aerial utilities within or near the construction area before commencing any work in the vicinity. Furthermore, the Contractor shall be fully responsible for any and all damages due to the Contractor's failure to exactly locate and preserve any and all underground utilities. The Owner or Engineer will assume no liability for any damage sustained or cost incurred because of operations in the vicinity of existing utilities or structures, nor the temporary bracing and shoring of same. If it is necessary to shore, brace, swing, or relocate a utility, the utility Company or Department affected shall be contacted and their permission obtained regarding the method to use for such work.
