The City of Moore, on behalf of the Moore Fire Department, is accepting sealed competitive bids from qualified vendors for the purchase of Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment that complies with all current applicable NFPA Standards. The equipment is to enhance firefighter safety and operational reliability, and must be from Dräger, MSA, or Scott/3M Scott Fire & Safety. The purchase includes approximately 65 SCBA Units, 145 4500 PSI Cylinders, 95 Facepieces with Voice Amplifiers or Integrated Capability, 13 SCBA Quick Connect Fill Adapters, 6 Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) Pack Assemblies, and 2 TSI Porta Count Pro Fit Test Adapters with APR and N100 filters. All proposed equipment must meet or exceed the specified technical standards. The City reserves the right to adjust quantities based on budget and pricing. Vendors must submit detailed pricing, information on optional features, costs for accessories, technical literature, warranty terms, scheduled maintenance requirements, service capabilities, training terms, and any deviations from specifications. Comprehensive documentation is required and failure to provide it may result in bid rejection. Bids will be evaluated on compliance with specifications, equipment performance, cost, warranty, maintenance support, training, delivery schedule, and employee feedback. Price alone will not determine the award. All equipment must be new and not refurbished. Delivery schedule must be included with the bid, and all equipment must be delivered FOB to the Moore Fire Department. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make awards in the best interest of the fire department and its citizens. Terms of payment will be negotiated after selection.
