Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the "Athletic Concession & Restrooms for Stone High School" for Stone County School District. Single stipulated sum bids will be accepted for all work per the Contract Documents in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders may examine documents at the Architect's office, ABC Plan Rooms, and AGC Plan Rooms in Jackson, Mississippi. Bid documents are available in hard copy or CD via the website www.eleyguildhardyprojects.com, and all plan holders must have a valid email for registration. Bids must be on file with Stone County School District by the opening time, sealed, and clearly marked as indicated. Alternatively, electronic bids may be submitted at the same website. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids. Each bidder must submit security with the bid as required, and Performance and Payment Bonds will be required from the successful bidder. Compliance with Mississippi's Certificate of Responsibility law and preference for resident contractors is required. Non-resident contractors must attach their state law regarding non-resident contractor treatment. The successful bidder must comply with the Owner's non-discrimination policy. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety days of opening. A. Construction of concession/restroom facilities. B. Base bid to include site work, concrete foundations, CMU, wood framing, hollow metal doors/frames, coiling doors, roof framing, standing seam roofing system, cement board soffit and panel system, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. C. All accessories or incidental items not specifically shown and detailed in the specifications herein, which are necessary and/or required to complete the work within the intent of the specifications, shall be included by the Contractor without additional cost to the Owner.
