Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Middletown, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Construct the demolition of the Village of Middletowns municipal water treatment plant located at 31255 N. Middletown Avenue in unincorporated Menard County, and to construct its replacement water treatment plant on the same site. A. Specifications and/or Drawings may be separated into discipline sections for convenience or reference only. Contractor shall be responsible for Complete Work, implemented by his/her own forces and his/her various subcontractors. Contractor is responsible for coordination between subcontractors. B. Further, it is not the intent that any work called out in a titled section be allocated to any specific trade. Allocation of this work to trades is considered a function of the Contractor. C. Contractor shall also be responsible for work as specifically cross-referenced in other Sections of Specifications though not specifically mentioned herein and for all information shown on drawings as applicable to their portions of work. Goals for minority participation for each trade 4% Goals for female participation in each trade 6.9% Question Deadline 01/22/2026 Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening the Bids will be given consideration. Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of (briefly describe nature, scope, and major elements of the work): Construct the demolition of the Village of Middletown's municipal water treatment plant located at 31255 N. Middletown Avenue in unincorporated Menard County, and to construct its replacement water treatment plant on the same site. Neither the State of Illinois nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting contract. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Village of Middletown, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price. The Village of Middletown reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Village of Middletown for a period not to exceed 120 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
