Renovation of a municipal facility in Nashville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Contractor is responsible for providing roofing services at 701 S. Sixth Street, Nashville, TN 37206. The scope of work includes removing all debris within the work area, minimizing disruption to staff and the public, conforming to regulatory procedures when hazardous or contaminated materials are discovered, and protecting employees, residents, and property from injury or damage. The Contractor must take precautions to maintain staff/public access to vehicles, report and repair any property damage, gather loose debris daily, and not use the site dumpster for construction waste. All trash, debris, and excess materials must be removed upon completion of services. The Contractor is responsible for compliance with OSHA safety standards, field verification of work to be performed, and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, ordinances, and codes while obtaining necessary licenses or permits. All required documentation must be submitted and approved by MDHA before payment of invoices. Goods provided must be new, unused, and free of defects. Work must be scheduled in coordination with MDHA staff and performed during business hours. All bidders must provide written documentation of qualifications and current certificates of insurance with specified liability limits. The contract term is 45 days or less, awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor must have sufficient personnel and staff with the necessary skill and judgment to perform all the duties and responsibilities for roofing services. All questions must be submitted in writing and e-mailed to MDHA at purchasing@nashville-mdha.org no later than, 11:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
