Victoria County requests sealed bids for the Victoria County WCID No. 1 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project - CDV23-0328. The work includes approximately 5,200 linear feet of 8" pipe bursting, reconnecting approximately 84 service taps, and other related items. Bids must be submitted in unit prices; lump sum bids will not be accepted. Bid submission requires three hard copies and one electronic copy on USB, physically delivered to the designated address. A bid bond of 5 percent is required for contracts exceeding $100,000. The project is funded through the Texas Department of Agriculture Community Development Block Grant program and must adhere to applicable federal and state laws, including payment of prevailing Davis-Bacon wage rates and non-discrimination requirements. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to contract award. Minority, small, women, Section 3, and labor surplus area businesses are encouraged to participate. Victoria County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities in bidding. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and qualification checks before contract award.
