Sealed proposals are requested for the construction work involving the replacement of the roof, windows, and envelope of the ECU Speight Building. The project includes the use of specific proprietary door hardware brands: Corbin, LCN Closers, and Von Duprin Panic and Exit Devices. Complete plans and specifications are available from INTREPID Architecture. The project encourages participation by minority and women-owned business enterprises and reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. MBE (10%) 1. The project will remove and replace all exterior windows for the building. There will also be a vestibule entry addition to the 5th street side of the building under the existing canopy along with some site improvements to make the main entrance ADA compliant. On the campus side of the building the project includes the partial removal of large site walls, handrail modifications, and removal of the existing canopy over the door and installation of new larger canopy over the existing porch area. Minimal interior work or disturbance is expected to complete this scope of work. 2. Project shall include 1 project sign printed on 4' tall by 8' wide panel acceptable for outdoor use that will last the project duration. The sign shall be on 4x4 treated wood posts, erected similar to a fence that will withstand wind loads. The sign shall contain the following information a. Project name b. Owner name and logo c. GC name and Logo d. Design team names and logos (digital image files of logos will be shared with GC) e.
