A. The Work under this Contract includes but is not limited to the specification sections herein and the following construction related items as follows 1. Work involves the construction of traffic control, site clearing, and removal, stripping of topsoil, erosion control, excavation and trenching, backfilling, storm sewer, manholes, castings, dewatering, filling, grading, compaction, curb and gutter, setting of inlet and manhole castings, asphaltic paving, driveways, topsoiling, restoration and testing. . B. The Work be awarded as a single base bid and involves the following proposal schedules: 1. Schedule "1C" Storm Sewer Construction 2. Schedule "1D" Roadway All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Sealed bids shall include the following approximate quantities: 330 L.F. - Storm Sewer 5000 C.Y. - Excavation Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid bond or certified check equivalent to 5% of the maximum proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interest of the Owner.
