The City of Boston Public Schools, acting by and through its Director of Facilities Management, invites sealed bids for the Hurley K-8 School Playground Improvement project. The scope of work is detailed in the bid package. General bids shall be submitted to the Awarding Authority at 1216 Dorchester Avenue, 2nd floor, Boston, MA 02125. Plans and specifications will be available after noon, December 31, 2025, at the Office of Facilities Management or by electronic request. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and most responsible bidder. In general includes, but is not limited to the following: demolition, excavation, grading, drainage, pavement work, resilient playground surfacing, pavement graphics, planting, and play equipment, and site furnishings, installation in accordance to plans and specifications. PRE-BID SITE VIEWING There will be no pre-bid site viewing. All prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the site. Question Deadline 01/14/2026 Bidders with questions or requiring interpretations or clarification of any perceived conflict, ambiguity, error, or omission that is discovered upon examination of the bidding documents shall make a written request for interpretation or clarification.
