**As of February 11, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids are invited for the Menlo Park FPD Station 77 Mechanic Shop HVAC project. Bids must be submitted on the official proposal form, sealed, and properly labeled. Bidders must provide a bidder's security equal to at least ten percent of the total bid price. The successful bidder is required to submit all required documents within ten working days of receiving written notice of award. The project is classified as public works under the California Labor Code, and bidders must pay prevailing wage rates and comply with apprenticeship and other related requirements. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as public works contractors prior to bidding and throughout the project. The contractor must be properly licensed at the time of contract award, holding either a Class B or C-20 license. The successful bidder must also furnish a Payment Bond for not less than 100% of the total contract amount. The District may reject any or all bids or waive bidding defects as allowed by law. Contract award will go to the lowest responsible bidder based on the total bid price, with the District reserving rights to add or deduct items post-selection. All bids remain valid for 90 calendar days post-opening and may not be withdrawn during this period, except as allowed by law. Question Deadline 01/27/2026
